Usui reiki is a safe and natural method of energetic and spiritual healing that is channelled through the reiki practitioner to the individual being healed.

In 1922, Dr. Mikao Usui was given the gift of healing which he called Reiki, from there, the ability to channel Reiki energy has been passed on from teacher to student during attunements.

Reiki moves energy through your entire being; healing on all levels – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. The Reiki energy clears negative energy blockages, balances energy and reduces stress to allow the body to heal itself naturally.

The technique administered by the Reiki practitioner connects with “source energy” or “Spirit”.  The practitioner says a small prayer for the recipient and then begins channeling energy through their hands over the body’s energy centers or “Chakras” to clear blockages and replace any negative energy with loving source energy.

Many people have different experiences and sensations with Reiki treatments. I always have time after a session to talk about your experience and things I have picked up during our session. A Reiki session typically takes 1 hour and the recipient is fully clothed, laying on the Reiki table provided, or any of the special accommodations that the individual may need (hospital bed, chair, etc.).
